El Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Racer Blue' agrega toques de color a una combinación de colores sigilosos de la venerable silueta de 1990, diseñada por Tinker Hatfield y presentada al mundo por Mars Blackmon. La parte superior media utiliza una parte superior de nubuck negro con ojales de TPU tonales, una red de panel de cuarto translúcido y una lengüeta plateada reflectante.
