The Legendary Nike Dunk Low "Ultraman" is Coming Back
We've seen our fair share of iconic Dunks over the past couple of years, but according to the latest reports, the legendary Nike Dunk Low "Ultraman" will be making a comeback very soon. Originally released as part of the Japan-exclusive CO.JP line back in 1999, after 24 years, it's finally getting the global release that we deserve.
Inspired by the Japanese superhero franchise from the 1960s, the aptly-named "Ultraman" is painted in a contrasting grey and red colour palette that nods to the series' characters. Outfitted in a full leather construction, it's decorated with Swooshes across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and sits on top of a creamy white rubber midsole underfoot. Perforations feature on the toebox for better ventilation, and the sneaker is finished off with additional Nike branding on the tongue tag and heel badge.
According to our sources, the Nike Dunk Low "Ultraman" will return in Summer 2024 to celebrate the basketball silhouette's 40th birthday. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your rotation next year, and in related news, the Nike Dunk Low "Be True 2023" is covered in futuristic rainbow panels.
