Every once in a while, a sneaker collaboration comes along that completely takes us by surprise. This season, the crown goes to Gucci x Vans. Dropping as part of the Italian fashion house's "Continuum" range which aims to champion "top design and artistic talent," if you're into luxurious skate shoes, then this collection was made with you in mind.

Comprising of the Old Skool, Slip-On, and OG Mule, all three pairs are crafted from contemporary archive materials. The Old Skool opts for a multi-material construction with studded details throughout, while the Slip-On reworks the iconic checkerboard pattern from the ground up, outfitting each square in suede or leather.

Finally, the OG Mule is made from repurposed fabrics from Gucci's Pre-Fall 2017​ collection, complete with a unique patchwork-inspired design and finished with a soft velvet trim. To finish, all five sneakers are printed with Gucci x Vans co-branding along the insoles.
