A Sneak Peek at the Stüssy x Nike Air Flight 89
Stüssy and Nike are like two peas in a sneaker pod. Since the dawn of time, the duo have worked on everything from the Air Force 1 Low and the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage, all the way to the latest Vandal High. And now, it looks like they'll be adding another into the mix with the Stüssy x Nike Air Flight 89. Are you ready?
Marking the 35th anniversary of the retro silhouette, Stüssy's take on the '80s model will feature a predominantly "White" leather construction, and will come in three colourways that are each accented with "Habanero Red," "Black," and "Pecan" hues. Perforations feature across the entire toebox for added ventilation, while faux snakeskin detailing also slithers in for an exotic aesthetic.
A Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, while co-branding is embroidered across the tongue. All of this sits on top of an Air midsole that has actually been swiped straight from the Air Jordan 4.
Not much else is known about the Stüssy x Nike Air Flight 89 collection at this time, but our sources tell us that they'll drop sometime towards the end of the year. Let us know what you think of this coveted collab, and in related news, the Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack could be in the works!
