The New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" Gets Blacked Out
The New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" has got to be one of the most hyped sneaker collections of the past few months. From the understated "Rain Cloud" all the way to the eye-catching "Vintage Orange," every single colourway is a must-own. With that said, it looks like the Boston-based sportswear brand will be adding another collection-essential to the pack with the never-before-seen "Black," and here's everything that we know so far.
Images courtesy of sneaker insider @woganwodeyang, the "Black" is literally what it says on the tin. Featuring a black mesh base, complementary jagged suede panels wrap around the rest of the upper for that unmistakably "Protection Pack" vibe. With that said, unlike "Triple Black" pairs like the "Phantom," you'll find light grey accents across the board for a more versatile look and feel. The ABZORB midsole has also been dipped in white to make that even more wearable, while sandy accents offer up a vintage vibe.
Set to release very soon, the New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack Black" will be available in The Edit LDN's New Balance range very soon, so keep it locked for your best chance to secure your size.
