Supreme's South Korea Store is Opening Very Soon

Even though hype surrounding Supreme isn't what it used to be, there's no doubting the fact that the demand is still there – especially in Asian markets. Over the past three decades, the James Jebbia-helmed streetwear imprint has opened up 15 stores across the globe. Six of these are in Asia, but strangely, they're all in Japan.

Now, according to the latest reports, Supreme will be cutting the ribbons to its first Asian location outside of Japan. In fact, as you might have already gathered from the title, this brick-and-mortar space will be in Seoul, more specifically, the city’s renowned Gangnam neighbourhood.

According to South Korean sneaker and streetwear community account Le Syndrome, they recently spotted a four-storeyed building in Apgujeong Rodeo Street that's near completion. The location is surrounded by high-end boutiques, cafés, and restaurants, and will apparently be the place for Supreme's 16th store.

Supreme Seoul is speculated to open on August 19th, just in time for the Fall/Winter 2023 season. Where else do you think the NYC streetwear label should set up shop? Let us know, and while you're here, here's your first look at 2023's Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low!
