The JJJJound x New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex "Grey" is Ready for Anything
Following the release of the "Storm Blue" earlier this season, it looks like JJJJound has even more New Balances in the works as we take our very first look at the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex "Grey." Marking the social media moodboard-turned-global fashion label's third take on the Y2K runner, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Working on top of a stealthy black mesh base, this sneaker is overlaid by panels of light grey suede throughout, offering up the perfect balance between versatility and luxury. The "N" logos across the lateral and medial sidewalls are decked out in supple charcoal leather, and unlike other 2002Rs, Justin Saunders' next pair does away with the usual flat cotton laces in favour of a toggle switch system, similar to the JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 "Navy" from 2021.
Down below, the blacked out midsole is infused with N-ERGY tech for unbeatable comfort and cushioning, and to round it all off, the entire trainer is completely lined with Gore-Tex, just like the "Green" that we previewed last month.
Expected to release sometime in early 2024, the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex "Grey" is a must-cop. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your rotation, and in related news, the Up There x New Balance 1906R is a metallic masterpiece!
