MJ's Air Jordan 1 is still as famous today as it were in 1985, except now being widely popular in streetwear and not only on the court. Jordan brand have partnered up with Atlanta-based luxury streetwear and footwear shop, A Ma Maniere. The result? An elegant two-toned autumn-hued sneaker with eye-catching details: the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 1 Retro High. From heel to toe, the panels are covered in a smooth suede setup in an off-white hue. The Swoosh logos and the collars, see a burgundy leather material with a snakeskin-like pattern.

The shoelaces and Wings insignia adopts the same tone, whilst a full-length Air midsole is used underfoot, being displayed in a yellowish shade that delivers a vintage vibe. The base of the upper, from heel to toe, is a cracked leather in neutral “Sail”. The metallic lace tips have the A Ma Maniere signature stamped in black. This same signature appears on the collab branding on the tongue tab and in the burgundy-coloured insole. The Wings logo is also stamped on the burgundy cracked leather hangtag whilst the sneaker also features a Burgundy quilted sock liner. Completing the design are the ankle flaps that reads “You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.”
