Get Up Close With the Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low
If you thought hype surrounding the Nike SB Dunk was slowing down, you couldn't be more wrong. With coveted collaborations from the likes of Carhartt WIP, Supreme, and Yuto Horigome currently in the works, it looks like Nike's skateboarding division will be adding another one to the mix with the Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low. Made in partnership with Tobias McIntosh and his label, here's everything that we know so far.
Images courtesy of industry insider Timmy Turner on Instagram, this Dunk works on top of a creamy suede base and is overlaid by leather panelling that's inspired by the grip tape that you might use on a deck. Painted in red and green hues, it's further contrasted with a baby blue Swoosh that glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls.
Underfoot, the Zoom Air midsole is dipped in an off-white shade for a somewhat vintage vibe, and this is lined with an icy blue rubber outsole. Interestingly, this showcases a bunch of little kids playing with "CSC"-branded wooden blocks. This playful illustration can also be found on the inside of the left tongue, finalising the design.
Not much else is known about the Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low at this moment in time, but it's set to drop within the next couple of weeks. Keep it locked at The Edit LDN's dedicated Dunk page for your best chance to secure your size, and in related news, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 "Blue" could be on the way!
