"Cherrywood" Accents Arrive on the Air Jordan 2 Low
Thanks to Virgil Abloh and his Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low "Black" and "White" collaborations, hype surrounding the low-top basketball shoe is on the up and up. Designed back sneaker icons Bruce Kilgore and Peter Moore back in 1986, while Michael Jordan's second signature shoe definitely wasn't as popular as the Air Jordan 1, there's still a unique charm to it that we can't help but ignore, and it's on full display on the freshly-revealed Air Jordan 2 Low "Cherrywood."
As premium as it gets, this AJ 2 boasts a premium leather and suede construction that feels insanely luxurious on-foot. Showcased here in these shots by @yankeekicks, the white and grey tones are contrasted by fiery "Cherrywood" accents that make the colourway pop. Perforations surround the toebox for a sartorially-inspired aesthetic, and the original winged basketball emblem is etched onto the tongue for that vintage look that we all know and love.
Expected to launch sometime in Summer 2023, the Air Jordan 2 Low "Cherrywood" is going to be extremely popular next year, so keep it locked at The Edit LDN's Air Jordan page for your best chance to secure your size.
