An Exclusive Look at the Louis Vuitton LVSK8 Sneaker
Thanks to Virgil Abloh and his incredible influence, Louis Vuitton has successfully carved a name for itself in the competitive world of streetwear. While Pharrell Williams has since taken the helm of the fashion house, the late Off-White designer's aesthetic continues to live on through sneakers like the upcoming Louis Vuitton LVSK8. The spiritual successor to the wildly popular LV Skate, this revamped silhouette features the same '90s vibes, but in a slightly more futuristic package.
Revealed in three tonal colourways including "Triple White," "Triple Black," and "Triple Blue," the never-before-seen LVSK8 boasts a technical mesh and calf leather construction that's as premium as it gets. The Parisian brand's Monogram Flower adorns the lateral and medial sides with a glossy finish, while chunky laces and oversized proportions pay homage to old school skate shoes from back in the way.
Underfoot, the midsole is decorated with additional monogramming, and rounding off the LVSK8 is the "1854" badge around the heel that nods to the year that Louis Vuitton was first established.
