First Look at Wales Bonner's Next adidas Sneaker Collection
There's no doubting the fact that Grace Wales Bonner is one of the most talented fashion designers of our generation. At just 31-years-old, the London-born icon was shortlisted to replace Virgil Abloh as the Creative Director of Louis Vuitton before Pharrell swooped in, and earlier this year, she was enlisted to design the official football team kit for Jamaica, harkening back to her Carribean heritage.
If you want to own some of her work, then you need to stop what you're doing and check out the next Wales Bonner x adidas sneaker collection. Made in collaboration with her eponymous label, keep reading to find out everything that we know so far.
The stand out of this range has got to be the silver Samba. Decorated with intricate stitching throughout, the leather is coated in a metallic finish for a look that is sure to turn heads. You'll also find an oversized tongue that delicately rests on top of the lacing system.
Elsewhere, the SL72 comes in two colour combinations including brown and green. These are made from a breathable knit material and sit on subtly serrated midsole for extra grip. All three pairs come with "Wales Bonner" branding around the heel and come packed in special edition shoeboxes.
