While Air Max Day isn't for another five months, it looks like Nike is already getting ready for the big event as we take our very first look at the upcoming Nike Air Max DN "Anthracite." We actually got a very brief sneak peek of this Air Max silhouette a few months back, but these latest images confirm that it's actually in the works. Sharing its DNA with other Nike icons like the Air Max Plus and Air Max Deluxe, this retro-inspired silhouette features a flexible mesh construction that's decorated by a series of contoured lines. Glossy details feature across the sidewalls and heel badge, where you'll also find the Swoosh logo in a fiery red hue.

Of course, there's absolutely no way that you can talk about this trainer without mentioning the extra chunky midsole. Dipped in a shade of light grey, the heel is made up of four pods that offer enhanced levels of comfort and cushioning. It's then finished off with a grippy rubber outsole that gives off serious ACG vibes.
