The CLOT x Nike Dunk Low "What The" Signals the Beginning of the End
For almost two decades, CLOT has been the name behind some of the most iconic Nike collaborations in history. From the Air Force 1 to the Air Max 1, Edison Chen and Kevin Poon have taken on the most legendary Swoosh silhouettes known to man. That said, if the latest rumours are true, it looks like this legendary partnership is about to come to its conclusion with the CLOT x Nike Dunk Low "What The."
As with other "What The" releases like Paul Rodriguez's pair from 2021, this Dunk combines some of CLOT's hottest sneakers into one single shoe. Throughout the design, you'll find elements that have been swiped straight off of the "Kiss of Death" from 2006, the "Flux," as well as the iconic fragment design collaboration that released earlier this summer. You'll also find premium silk details that have been borrowed from special drops like the "Rose Gold Silk," which will slowly but surely tearaway over time.
According to reports, CLOT will be ending its contract with Nike and will be focusing on adidas instead. Of course, this isn't the first time that these brands have worked together. Back in 2018, CLOT's lifestyle division, JUICE, released an exclusive NMD during the height of the Nomad hype. This sold out literally within seconds, with some pairs selling for four digits even five years later.
The CLOT x Nike Dunk Low "What The" will release within the next couple of weeks, so make sure you keep it locked at The Edit LDN for your best chance to secure your size.
