First Look at the Travis Scott x Jordan Cut the Check
Travis Scott has got to be one of the busiest people on Planet Earth. With his fourth studio album Utopia dropping at the end of the month, he's also working on three sneakers with Nike, including the never-before-seen Travis Scott x Jordan Cut the Check. Set to be his first signature silhouette, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
First spotted at the premiere of The Idol at the Cannes Film Festival in May, the Cut the Check will be La Flame's first all-original shoe, and borrows elements from some of his most iconic designs. Teased in a "Black" colourway and another one that bears a striking resemblance to the "Olive" from earlier this season, it works on top of a buttery suede base and is overlaid with leather panelling throughout.
The Texan rapper's signature backwards Swoosh glides across the lateral sidewalls, and you'll also find a Velcro-fastened strap that wraps around the vamp area. All of this then sits on top of an Air midsole that seems to be borrowed from the Air Jordan 4.
Not much else is known about the Travis Scott x Jordan Cut the Check at the moment, but it's set to drop sometime at the end of the year. Let us know what you think of this upcoming model, and in related news, here's when you can cop the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf "Neutral Olive"!
