The New Balance Warped Runner Goes Back to the Future
While New Balance is known mostly for their old school sneakers, with the upcoming New Balance Warped Runner, they're heading straight to the future. After getting teased at AURALEE's most recent Paris Fashion Week Men's SS24 show, we're now getting up close and personal with the avant-garde silhouette. And we have a feeling that this is going to be the next big thing.
Debuting in an extremely clean colour scheme, the Warped Runner works on top of a crisp white mesh base and is overlaid by panels of cream suede throughout. An oversized "N" logo is printed across the lateral and medial sidewalls in black, while tonal laces tie everything together.
All of that looks amazing, for sure, but the midsole is where all the magic happens. Boasting a highly-sculpted design, the dual-layered FuelCell unit features a series of curved ridges that look like something taken straight out of 3023. It's then lined with a wavy rubber outsole for extra grip and traction with every step.
Not much else is known about the New Balance Warped Runner at the moment, but they're set to release very soon. Keep it locked at The Edit LDN for your best chance to cop, and in related news, Action Bronson just showed off his New Balance 1906R collab.
